For where two or more are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20 |
Thank you for my Life
Dear God, thank you for my life on this earth, however challenging or not.
Thank you for giving me free will to love and be loved, to make my own decisions, to learn from my mistakes, to laugh when I am happy, to cry when I am sad.
Thank you for my family, my friends, my pets, my colleagues, and for every other living creature I meet along my journey.
Thank you for giving me strength to overcome adversity, to do what's right for the benefit of the greater good, to rise above negativity.
Thank you for giving me hope for an end to world suffering, pain, and war, for a beginning of a world filled with light and everlasting love.
prayers for peace and happiness :o)
Please pray for Zema and Russell, Joan and Billy, and Carol and Randy. I pray that they can see things in a different way and are able to put their differences aside and find what made them first fall in love. Please pray that their walls, barriers, and anger can be replaced with love and understanding. That they can put themselves in each others shoes and find peace, be grateful for what they have. Please pray that their eyes are opened and they receive guidance and strength.
Also, please pray for my mom and dad who have been blessed with a large sum of money and are going to be moving after 50 years in the same run down trailer. They have sacrificed alot over the years and have never been materilistic people. They are good simple, moral people. I pray that there last years are very happy and blessed and they are always protected from any type of harm and they never loose their unselfish priorities. I pray that their judgement does not change with the moral darkness that I have seen that money can bring. Thank you sweet father for always listening and always caring, I am most grateful! Amen :o)

A few prayers...
Please pray for my dad regarding his kidney stones. The last one was golf-ball sized and rather painful. I pray that he receives comfort, love and support. Please pray for Mr. Cote, that his infection continues to heal and he finds much strength and comfort during his illness and does not have to go back into the hospital again. Also pray for Jackie during her high risk pregnancy. I pray that she is well-cared for and always protected. She has waited a long time for this little blessing and the baby is well loved. I pray that her spirits are raised and that there is comfort during the struggles and adjustments to come. I pray that she is able to smile and look at all of the good brought to her and not focus only on the bad and hard things. In sweet Jesus' name I pray. Amen :o)

Please pray for Karen
My mother is having problems with her eyes. She is experiencing flashes of light and may have to undergo surgery to reattach her retina. My father does not believe in surgery and therefore may talk her out of getting the surgery which may ultimately cause her to lose her sight. Please pray that the Lord will help to slow the progress so that surgery is not an issue.

Prayers for Stacey and Randy
Please pray for Randy and Stacey. Randy is in an abusive relationship and lost. He seems resigned to his life under the control of another person which I am all too familiar with. Please pray that he sees the light and finds strength, comfort, and support. Please pray for Stacey whose bitterness and internal pain has blinded her to her own actions and right and wrong. I pray that she finds the comfort and strength to let go of all the internal pain that keeps her trapped in a vicious cycle and that she learns to truly forgive from her heart. I pray that they are given much hope and love. In sweet merciful Jesus' name I pray. Amen :o)

Pray for Thomas
Tom D. asks "If you could pray for Thomas Everson, a prisoner of some 20+ years in Kansas. He has accepted Jesus as Savior but is in very difficult and discouraging circumstances. If you can possibly send him a letter or card of prayer support or perhaps a cheerful greeting, that would be great."
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:5-8

Our Prayers to Yoram's Family
Please pray for Yoram's family in their sadness and loss. That his wife and children know peace and comfort with his departure and never forget what a blessing they had with their time with him here and joyful for their time to come.
Also, please pray for my friends whose hearts have hardened due to constant death and loss. That they may know the spirit and a different perspective so they can turn those tears and anger into joy and compassion for others. May we all never forget the little blessings we have everyday if we choose to see and acknowledge them. In what appears to be great darkness, there is great light. Amen :o))

house fire
Please pray for Ted and Mary Edith Hallock, whose home burned down in a fire last Thursday evening. Ted currently suffers from kidney failure and is on a serious medical regimine in addition to recently being added to the national donor list. Yet, through it all, they remain true servants of Christ and examples for any of us! Please join me in lifting them in prayer for God's healing touch through all of the emotional and medical turmoil they are currently enduring. As we know, God will provide for all our needs - physical, emotional and spiritual - when we trust in Him. In His Name we pray, Amen.

40-day journey begins with one step...
While reading in our 40 Days of Community workbook the last few days, I am compelled to send out prayers to each of you in our group. I feel blessed to be in a new group of people with the opportunity to get to know more brothers and sisters in Christ amidst my self-inflicted solitary these past several months. One reflection I keep coming back to is this: we love God by our efforts to be Christ-like - by loving others! Ephesians 5:1-2 reminds us to be imitators of God as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ love us and gave himself up for us. So, my prayer is for our first steps in this 40-day journey to be taken together, getting to know one another in a loving and vulnerable way, just as those first believers did -- and may we see His signs and wonders and be in awe! Love to you all!

Prayers for my sister
Lord in Heaven who I am most grateful for, who has remained beside me and been so generous even times when I did not deserve it - since I was a child, please bless and protect my sister. Give her guidance, strength, wisdom, and understanding to do your will. Help her with her personal problems and her ever present health issues. Give her knowledge and peace to replace her confusion that I know all to well. Help me to provide her what she needs according to your will. Help me to find the right words for her, a smile or a corny joke like I use to do when we were little to cheer her up in her pain and just my shoulder to cry on if nothing else. Help her feel the love that you gave me and feel it as I do. That I may touch her in a positive way and help ease her fears so that she can see your light and not be afraid of darkness - as I received through others. Let me give that and share what you taught me. Thank you sweet merciful father. Amen :o)

A Prayer for the Uncertain Future
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for the doors, which are seemingly closing, are merely a stepping stone to new doors being opened. Julia has recently been forced to walk away from a potentially volitile employment situation. In turn, we pray for a new opportunity to reign upon her. Thank you for all of your many blessings. We praise your name on high!

Dear Heavenly Father
We lift our brothers and sisters to You today and we would like to bless them with these words of prayer. Lord, these are Your people and we know many have grown weary along the way, but today we pray that the weariness will lift from them and You will send a time of refreshing to them - spirit, soul and body. Lord, encourage them with Your Spirit. We don't know all the needs but You do.
Bless them with health, finances, direction, strength, wisdom, love and the things that are needful at this time. Lord, may You heal any relationship problems in their churches, homes and families. Give them revelation from on High. May they hear Your voice. Restore the joy of their salvation to those who are laboring without a rejoicing heart. Father, may the joy of the Lord flood over them and help them to serve You with newness of heart and spirit. We pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Pray for my sister
Please pray for my sister who is living in a nightmare similar to the way mine was, it is chilling. Please pray for her and her little girls who are in the middle of it. My heart breaks watching it unfold and I do what I can to help and be supportive and share what I have learned. She really needs the prayers of genuine hearts that have been touched by grace. There is no limit to the power and strength of God working through others. Thank you.

Absolute Surrender
Father I come to you in absolute surrender of all I am and ask you to please bring conviction of sin where it dwells in me and be my strength so that I might acknowledge it and repent and have forgiveness and be filled with your grace. So that I might be a lamp for others you put before me. That they might wonder and desire to know you. I ask that you also send this to my husband and family and all your saints and prodigals and that you pour the Blood of Christ Jesus over us and wrap us in a hedgerow of protection and send your warrior angels to guard and keep us from harm and the evil one.
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. Psalms 4:1
Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. Psalms 16:1

My Struggles
Pray for me, as well as, my husband and children. WE are experiencing problems of our own. I have walked away from the Lord and I am running back! The emptiness I have felt since then has been overwhelming. I knew why that emptiness was there was because I was not following his way. My children and I have returned to the house of GOd, yet, my husband has not. I pray everyday that he will find the Lord and return to him as well. I am trusing in the Lord to take care of us at our time of need. The Lord will heal us with his mercy and grace. GOD bless you Julia and Gor.. My prayers are with you too.. always prayers, Dana

Abiding in Christ
Father I come to you as your child and ask in Jesus' name that you bless us with your grace and mercy and that you put your loving arms around us and keep us from the evil one and lift us up from the sins of our flesh and breathe new life into us by renewing us in your image according to your word Lord.
